about ugachaka
I started my life as a Nintendo fanboy and learned to platform in the pipes of Mario before I even learned how to read. True story.
After questing in the green tunic of Link, popping some balloons in Mario Kart and Smashing Bros. all over the place, I have grown to appreciate what Sony and Microsoft offer as well.
Outside of gaming, I am completely obsessed with all new tech, check my email compulsively and spend hours of my day absorbing more than 30 podcasts and over 50 RSS feeds. I know — it’s too much.
This blog was created first as a project for my Web design course in college but has since expanded into a wealth of content on video games, technology and my early thoughts on journalism, public relations and business.
At ugachaka.net, the former domain of this blog, it never quite made up its mind on what it wanted to be, but I archived it here while I split my attention to two other projects on the Web: wannabeMogul.com and FantasyFootballFools.com. Someday, I might return to it or incorporate all this content into a future project.
This blog remains one of my early online “melting pots.” I may post here occasionally, but ugachaka is on a “break” for the time being. Feel free to subscribe to the RSS feed to keep up with any new posts and peruse the archives.
Enjoy,
Jacob Sloan
